Our buoy is always positioned directly above the anchor. The self rolling mechanism guarantees that only so much belt is released as needed, to a maximum depth of 65 feet.
The belt automatically rolls back into the buoy as the anchor is retrieved, so tangling of the belt can never happen. The belt is constructed with a tensile strength of about 1100 lbs. With this amount of strength, it can also serve as a trip line.
